Ciao!

We are so excited to able to fill you all in along the way on our big adventure.

We are busy packing and getting everything in order this evening. It is hard to believe the day is finally here. We are excited, nervous, sad (to leave Lucy) and a little overwhelmed, but mostly excited!

We arrive in Italy Sunday evening and have appointments at the US consulate and Italian Town Hall first thing Monday morning. We then plan to do some sightseeing and shopping.

Check back every few days to see what we have been up to and maybe catch a photo or two.

Congratulations! We are so happy for you both and excited that the secret is finally out! What a wonderful adventure you have already had and will continue to have in the next few weeks and for many, many years to come. We can't wait to hear how it is all going and how much fun you two are having.

Happy traveling, wedding, and of course, wine drinking! Congrats again and have a fabulous trip!

Ciao! Glad to hear you made it okay - a 10-hour delay...yikes! But hey, you were in London, it couldn't have been that bad, right? I would be curious to know what time you arrived, only because I am certain it was probably about the same time the 300 lb. overhead cabinet you gave us came crashing down off our wall, with some of the wall, in our office on Sunday evening. It was quite scary...but everyone was okay, the floor only got a scratch (unbelievable!) and the only main damage was to one of the file cabinets. I believe it must have been a sign that you had arrived safely and that your exciting journey was about to begin! What do you think about that? Crazy, maybe, but I like it. :)

We received our postcard yesterday and it looks fabulous! Great job by Willo and yourselves, the whole set-up is so fun! :) Enjoy your day! Italiano!!!

Hello there! We just wanted to first say that we are glad you made it safely and second give Brian an update on The Beavs. They have moved one step closer to the college world series! They beat St. Johns 19 - 3! They are off to the Super Regonials.

We love you guys. Have fun and be safe (does that sound like a mom or what).

Love, Sherry (& Mark, Wyatt & Max)

My dearest children,

I,I,I,I,I,I can't believe... You did whaaaaat?!!!!! I certainly hope you took enough clean underwear and don't fall off those bicycles and hurt yourselves. And we just hope Lucy doesn't need psychotherapy when you get back home. But really, we hope you are having the time of your lives. What a wonderful thing to do! You both deserve this exciting experience and memories it will bring. Be sure to breathe it all in and soak it up well while you're there. What a gorgeous and romantic place to be! You chose a fabulous place to go.

We got the packet and have sent all the cards on their way. People around Mapleton are beginning to respond to us with amazement and astonishment. All are exclaiming with a sense of, "Wow!" "How Neat!"

We explored the website throughly last night. We are looking forward to following your progress and hearing about your adventures. You're taking some snapshots, aren't you? (silly question, I hope). What a fabulous website and totally awesome feat you have orchestrated. This is getting long so until later, Congratulations to high heaven and all our love and devotion. Mom and Dad

God Bless you both. Wow would be an understatement. Will keep checking the website for updates and, yes, hopefully a photo or two. Will do my best to see you both in July. I know you'll have a great time and learn more Italian by default.

Love,

Karen
