| Yes,
we have finally made it official and have eloped in Italy. We wanted
something fun, romantic and memorable and Italy just seemed to have
it all! Then we had to come up with something that would be enjoyable
for both of us, which meant shopping and pampering for Kara and history
and go go go for Brian. This great tip of a Backroads bike trip was
brought to our attention (thanks Kathy!) and it just seemed perfect!
So we are shopping and site seeing the first week and pampering and
biking the second week. Oh yeah, we squeezed in a quick wedding too!
So, we have been busy behind the scenes trying to learn Italian (not
successful), gathering documents, having them translated, getting
the approval of the Italian Consulate, and the greatest challenge…
trying to keep it all a secret.
As much fun as this is for the two if us, it just wouldn’t
be official without celebrating with our great family and friends.
Consider this your invitation! We have a great weekend
of activities planned at our new home in Boise for the weekend
of August 27th. Beginning with a cocktail party at our home on Friday
evening and then an Italian picnic on Saturday with several fun
events mixed in between. Just like the Italians do it - the more
the merrier, so bring the entire family and celebrate with us!
